Do mini-splits heat well in winter?

What’s the difference between a single-zone and multi-zone system?
Single-zone means one outdoor unit paired with one indoor unit. Multi-zone means one outdoor unit connected to multiple indoor units (zones). Multi-zone is great for multiple rooms, but it requires proper design so each zone performs well.
How do you determine how many indoor units I need?
